Last week, our Dallas team hosted a Local Mission Forward—but this one looked a little different.

Instead of training, strategy, or planning, we invited local youth pastors to simply slow down, share a meal, and enjoy fellowship together. With summer ministry in full swing, we wanted to create space for these leaders to be encouraged, refreshed, and reminded that they’re not serving alone.

At Collision, we believe partnering with churches means more than providing training and resources. It also means investing in the pastors and leaders who are faithfully reaching the next generation every day. Sometimes partnership looks like equipping; sometimes it looks like creating space for community and encouragement.

We’re grateful for every youth pastor who joined us, and we’re excited to continue working together to see students reached with the Gospel and multiplied as disciples.

If you're a youth pastor in the Dallas area, or anywhere in the nation, and would like to connect with other local leaders, we'd love to meet you. Reach out, we're here to serve you.

🔥 What Makes Movements Different from Church Services?

Over the next 10 weeks, every Monday, we will dive into the characteristics consistently found in Church Planting Movements around the world — movements that multiplied disciples, churches, and the gospel rapidly.

Characteristic #1: Prayer Was Relentless and Strategic.

These movements weren’t built on personalities, platforms, or polished programs. They were fueled by deep dependence on God.

They prayed:
• Daily for lost people by name
• Over schools, campuses, neighborhoods, and cities
• Before entering new places
• For healing and spiritual breakthrough
• For “persons of peace”
• With urgency and expectation

Movements happen when prayer stops being supplemental and becomes foundational.

At Collision, we believe God still wants to move through students today. As we pray for schools across America, we’re asking God to raise up a generation that carries the gospel boldly into every campus and community.

What would happen if students became known more for prayer than performance?

What started with a student team is now equipping a whole church 🙌

Last week, one of our church partners, Manheim BIC Church in Manheim, PA, took another exciting step toward creating a culture of Gospel conversations.

Jordan, their middle school pastor, used the 3 Circles as the foundation for his Sunday sermon. The best part? The middle school students were excited because they already knew it!

Through their student-led Gospel team, they've been learning and practicing how to share their faith all year.

Every family went home with a 3 Circles fridge magnet and was challenged to practice together and share the Gospel with three people. Next month, the entire congregation will learn how to share a 15-second testimony.

That's the kind of multiplication we love to see!

These Freshman girls became the very first Collision team at Rapid City Stevens High School in South Dakota — and since March, they have faithfully shown up every single week for Harvest Time, boldly sharing the Gospel with their peers. 🙌🏻

What started with a few willing students has become a light for Jesus on their campus. Their consistency, courage, and obedience are making an eternal impact!

A huge thank you to Catlin, our Black Hills Field Director, for faithfully pouring into and training up these student leaders to expand the Kingdom and reach their school for Christ. 👏🏻

This is exactly why Collision exists — students reaching students with the hope of Jesus.

🔥BIG NEWS from Jackson Creek Fellowship in Chicago!🔥

Collision students just added 20 more links to their gospel chain — bringing their total to 49 people led to Christ THIS YEAR! 🙌

Every link represents a real person whose life has been changed by Jesus. These students aren’t waiting for someone else to reach their school and community… they’re living on mission right where they are!

And they’re not stopping there. Their faith goal for 2026 is :💯 PEOPLE led to Christ.

Pray for boldness, open hearts, and continued multiplication as these students keep sharing the hope of Jesus!

What an incredible start to Local Mission Forward in Phoenix! 🔥

This week, 9 churches from across the Phoenix area gathered together with one mission in mind: seeing every student encounter Jesus.

Youth leaders united in worship, prayer, and collaboration as they committed to flooding the Valley with the gospel through middle and high school students. We believe God moves powerfully when the Church comes together, and this was just the beginning.

Our heart behind Local Mission Forward is simple: to equip and unify churches to reach students with the hope of Jesus and multiply disciples in schools and communities.

Thank you to every leader, church, and student ministry represented. We’re expectant for what God is going to do in Phoenix!

☀️ Summer changes schedules… but it doesn’t change the mission.

For students, the next few months are filled with gyms, beaches, coffee shops, sports camps, and summer jobs — and every one of those places can become a mission field.

This time of year sharing the gospel looks less like a conversation in a classroom and more like:
• a conversation after a workout
• encouraging a teammate on the sideline
• reading the Bible at a coffee shop
• praying with a coworker after a hard shift
• talking about purpose while watching a sunset at the lake

Parents, youth pastors, and leaders — let’s help students see that evangelism isn’t something they pause during summer break.

It’s something they carry into everyday life.

This summer, pray for boldness, open doors, and students who live on mission wherever they go. 🔥

May we never take for granted the freedom we have to share the gospel.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country, and we’re grateful for all who have served to protect the freedoms we often take for granted.

Because of their sacrifice, we have the freedom to worship openly, live boldly in our faith, and share the hope of Jesus with others.

At Collision, we never want to waste that freedom.

This week, challenge your students to use their voice, their influence, and their freedom to point someone to Jesus.

One simple challenge: 👉🏻 Pray for one friend by name and start a Gospel conversation this week.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

May we remember with gratitude. May we live with purpose. And may we never take the freedom to share the Gospel for granted.

Our Volunteer Appreciation Dinner for Sioux Falls volunteers was such an incredible night! 💛

We laughed, played games, shared an amazing meal, and most importantly, celebrated the incredible people who faithfully serve alongside Collision Ministries year after year.

To every volunteer who gives their time, energy, prayers, encouragement, and love to students — thank you. Your willingness to consistently show up and serve so graciously makes an eternal impact far beyond what you may ever fully see.

We are deeply grateful for the way you care for students, champion the mission, and help create spaces where lives are changed by Jesus.

What a joy it was to spend the evening together celebrating all God has done this past year. We love our volunteers and are so thankful to be on mission together. Here’s to many more years of serving, growing, and reaching students together! 🔥
