Today we're celebrating Angie Glasser, our incredible Events Director and Office Manager!

We are so grateful for Angie and the many years she has faithfully served Collision. Whether it's planning events, solving problems, taking care of everthing around the office, or jumping in wherever help is needed, Angie does it all with excellence and a servant's heart.

She is a true grinder—someone you can always count on to work hard, go the extra mile, and passionately share the vision and mission of Collision.

Her love for Jesus, our team, and the students we serve is evident in everything she does.

🌏 God is opening new doors!

Friday, the Sioux Falls team had the opportunity to train two Chinese churches from Iowa on evangelism and outreach. Fifteen people participated in the training and then stepped out in faith to put it into practice.

During the outreach, several students courageously prayed for people and shared the gospel with those they met. It was incredible to watch them move from learning to action!

One highlight was a middle school boy who shared that he will be traveling to visit family in China and was excited to take the gospel-sharing tools he learned and use them with his relatives there.

What a powerful reminder that when students are equipped, the impact can reach far beyond their own community!

We're also excited because these churches are interested in learning more about partnering with Collision as they return to their communities.

What Makes Movements Different from Church Services? | Part 4

One of the most powerful characteristics of disciple-making movements is a commitment to Biblical Authority and Obedience.

In movements, the Bible isn't just a book to study—it's a guide to obey. Believers are encouraged to read Scripture for themselves, discover what God is saying, and immediately put it into practice.

Instead of asking, "What do you think about this passage?" movements often ask:

What does this teach us about God?
What will you obey?
Who will you share this with?

The goal isn't simply gaining more knowledge—it's becoming more like Jesus.

When ordinary believers learn to hear God's Word, obey it, and help others do the same, disciples multiply and movements grow.

📖 Read Scripture.
🙏 Obey what God says.
➡️ Pass it on to someone else.

That's how movements spread.

Movements don’t grow through attendance alone—they grow through multiplication.

One of the defining characteristics of disciple-making movements is intentional church planting through Disciple Making Groups (DMGs). New believers are quickly equipped to gather others, make disciples, and start new groups.

The question movement leaders constantly ask is: “Who will start the next group?”

When we measure obedience and reproduction instead of attendance, the gospel spreads farther and faster.

Jesus didn’t call us to make converts—He called us to make disciples.

Students Are Taking the Gospel to the Streets!🔥

Last week, we kicked off our first Ignite the Mission Summer Outreach in Sioux Falls, SD!

Students from across the city came together to pray over a local high school and intentionally share the gospel throughout the community. One highlight was watching a group of young men boldly engage students at a local skate park, sharing the hope of Jesus and having meaningful gospel conversations.

This will become a weekly rhythm throughout the summer, giving students regular opportunities to grow in their faith, step out in boldness, and gain confidence in sharing the gospel with others.

We are excited to see what God does as students continue living on mission and reaching their peers with the hope of Christ.

We are incredibly grateful for this endorsement from Jeff Cox, a faithful leader who has spent more than 40 years investing in students across Phoenix.

What makes this especially meaningful is Jeff's long-held vision of seeing Phoenix become a sending base for reaching the next generation with the Gospel. To hear him say that Collision Ministries is helping make that vision a reality is both humbling and encouraging.

We're especially thankful for the work of our Phoenix team, Levi Wiersma and Riley Hogan, who are equipping churches and youth leaders to raise up student disciple-makers on their campuses.
