Seven couples met in 1950 to envision and plan for a new church in Sioux Falls. The first Sunday worship was held on September 3, 1950 in the old chapel on the Sioux Falls College campus. Asbury has grown to over 575 members. The seeds that

were planted over 60 years ago continue to grow and bear fruit. Our thriving congregation is young and old, warm and friendly. Our worship includes traditional and non-traditional services that are spiritually upbeat and positive. We have active programs in music, discipleship and fellowship for all ages. We are in mission and ministry within the community and throughout the world.
