Welcome to Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation-Emek Shalom! We are a reform congregation dedicated to creating, sustaining, and nurturing the Jewish community in the Farmington Valley, and perpetuating Judaism in all aspects of life. Our Temple began as twelve Jewish families coming together in a Simsbury home. Nearly one-third of our congregation belongs to an interfaith family. We offer a vari

ety of celebrations, education programs, and worship opportunities for our varied interests. We want to build a community based on inclusiveness, where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, marital status, sexual orientation, a Jew by birth or by choice.

JEWISH SUMMER CAMP — AN EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER!

Summer is just around the corner, and there's no better place for your child to grow, laugh, make lifelong friends, and connect with their Jewish identity than at a Jewish Summer Camp!

Jewish summer camps offer so much more than a traditional camp experience. They are immersive, joyful communities where kids explore their heritage, build confidence, celebrate Shabbat under the stars, and create memories that last a lifetime. 🌟

Whether your child is a first-time camper or a returning veteran, there is a Jewish summer camp out there that is the perfect fit for your family.

Ready to explore your options? The Union for Reform Judaism has a wonderful resource to help you find the right Jewish summer camp for your child:
