Today we are reminiscing about when the community came together on 6/19/25 to recognize, honor, and celebrate the family of Peter and Esther Jackson. Thank you to John and Erica Mills of the Alex Breanne Corporation for organizing this event.

Please join us for the dedication of a new monument honoring Peter and Esther Jackson, two remarkable early residents of Simsbury. The ceremony will be held on June 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM. The event begins at Eno Memorial Hall and concludes with the monument unveiling at Simsbury Cemetery. This tribute is a community effort supported by the Simsbury Historical Society, the DEI Council and the Town of Simsbury.

Have you taken a stroll through our grounds lately? The flowers and trees have added amazing color to the cemetery. Be sure to take in the sights and enjoy a tranquil moment overlooking Hopmeadow street. You might have noticed that we're working on a new irrigation system for the cemetery. We've built a pump house at the top of the hill which will allow for more efficient water access.
