150 Apple pies baked with love by our Senior high youth ministry and all our wonderful parishioners. These were delivered this week to six local Hartford shelters. Thank you all!

SHYM Apple pie night. What a fun night as we baked many pies while we also prayed for both the Simsbury girls and Canton boys soccer teams playing in the state cup finals. 50 pies tonight and over 90 pies from parishioners!! Pies were delivered today to five shelters throughout stay tuned for more pics…

Calling All Moms, Dads and Friends of Our Youngest Parishioners…

On Tuesday, November 2 at 6:30 p.m. there will be a meeting in the Church for all parents and friends who wish to be part of the organizing and executing of this year’s “Breakfast with Santa,” which due to Covid will be another outdoor event, albeit a scaled-down program from last year’s major outdoor celebration.

This year I am hoping for a gathering comprised of an outdoor celebration with lights, hot chocolate and candy canes, a photo array opportunity with Santa, and a take-home craft package to help decorate your Christmas tree.

Our first step is to create a committee, define the night’s program, and then make it happen. Please join us on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2, at 6:30 p.m. in Church.

Summer Mission Trip Day 3 Part 2 - We made 17 Lasagnas and meatballs for 25 people (4 families), and cookie platters from the wonderful parishioners that baked for us.

At our Christmas meeting, we assembled toiletry kits and water bottles. Thank you all for your generous contributions. You can see that they are greatly appreciated!! These have been distributed by Officer Barrett with the Hartford Police Homeless Unit.
