Our pets bring us unconditional love, comfort, joy, and companionship every day. Join First Church of Christ, Simsbury for our annual Blessing of the Animals as we celebrate the special bond we share with all of God's creatures.

📍 Simsbury Public Library Lawn
Bring your dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and other beloved pets (or a photo of a pet who can't attend) for a special blessing. Pets should be on a leash or in a secure carrier.
🪑 Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
This is a joyful, family-friendly community event, and everyone is welcome—whether you have a pet or simply want to celebrate the animals who enrich our lives.
We hope to see you and your furry, feathered, or scaled friends there! 🐶🐱🐰🐦❤️

First Church Youth Make a Difference! 💙🙏

From August 2–7, First Church of Christ Simsbury Youth participated in an inspiring intergenerational mission trip to Mission at the Eastward (MATE) in Maine.

It was an unforgettable week filled with service, faith, fellowship, and plenty of hard work! Together, our youth and adult volunteers rolled up their sleeves to assist families in need with home repairs and community projects—putting their faith into action and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who gave their time, energy, and hearts to serve. Experiences like this remind us that when we come together in faith and service, we can make a lasting impact—both in the communities we serve and within ourselves.
