Join us for worship at our 9:00am (Traditional) or 10:30am (Modern) Sunday services! We hope to see you at Advent!

Advent was chartered in 1987 in preparation for the anticipated growth in the Five Forks area. As our zip code has grown, so have we; and over thirty years later, we are a large, vibrant congregation from a variety of backgrounds.

Today some of the Advent staff went out for a meal to support Dine Out for Mom! While we enjoyed good food, knowing portions of sales today go to helping Moms and Dads with life threatening illnesses is what truly makes us happy! If you are able, look into the participating restaurants for Dine out for Mom!

We are so thankful for the 145 volunteers (including 20+ children) who helped us pack food boxes with Rise Against Hunger. Thanks to your efforts, we were able to pack 20,000 meals! A great way to share the love of Jesus is to serve those in need and yesterday is a great reminder of one of the tangible ways we can be a light in our community.

What if the things that frighten us most aren’t just found on movie/tv/phone screens?
This Sunday, we begin a new sermon series called “Fear-Less.” We’ll explore some of the fears that can creep into our lives and even into the life of the church. We hope to see you over the next 3 weeks!
