Advent Student Ministry
Sharing the journey. Growing in faith. A place to belong and make a difference
Sundays • 5:45–7:45 PM Romans 12:2

~ ABOUT US ~
Advent United Methodist Church’s mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Student Ministry at Advent embraces this mission and believes that students are not only the church of tomorrow; they are the church of today. During this time, students are on a journey from childhood to young adulthood. Our desire at Advent is to be partners on the journey. We strive to create opportunities to allow students to know and claim:
• I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my creator.
• I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.
• I exist every day to demonstrate God’s love to a broken world. Core Scripture: Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Part 4: Middle School Retreat 2026 was amazing! So many games, laughs, all the snacks, and enough random thoughts and conversations to keep us entertained for days!

But in the middle of all the chaos and fun, there was something even better happening. Students were connecting, friendships were growing, and faith was "Leveling Up."

So thankful for this crew, our amazing leaders, and a weekend full of memories, laughter, and growth!

Our Middle School students and leaders are heading off for retreat weekend! As they step away from their normal routines, we’d love for our Advent family to be praying for them.

Pray that hearts and minds are open to what God wants to show them. Pray for meaningful conversations, deeper friendships, and connections with their leaders.

We can’t wait to see how God moves through this weekend!
