Last night, Advent Women feasted on an amazing meal, gathered around the table in fellowship and were inspired by Kami Turner’s singing of the hymn The First One Ever and Mary Teasley’s words of wisdom and experience as a woman serving in ministry in our denomination. We had a wonderful time sharing a taco meal and packing 1075 packs for the Period Project which provides hygiene products for women and girls who don’t have access. Thank you to our wonderful hostess with the MOSTEST Karen Shultz. This was Kingdom living at its best-feasting at the table and serving outside ourselves. Advent United Methodist Church

Connecting Space
Join us for dinner with Rev. Mary Teasley as this year marks 70 years since women were granted full clergy rights and the right to full ordination as elders. Mary has 49 years of ministry experience and is the longest serving clergywoman in the South Carolina UMC. We hope you join us!
