Who We Are - a message from a member of SPCUMC
Sand Point Community United Methodist Church is a sacred space in the heart of View Ridge. We serve the community by offering worship opportunities, the sacraments of baptism and communion with Jesus Christ, and weddings, memorial services, and special events celebrating the seasons of the Christian calendar. Our music program enhances our worship wi

th outstanding organ and piano music, choir, bell choir and solo presentations, as well as Christmas and Lenten cantatas. We offer small group opportunities such as Bible study, a prayer circle, a justice discussion group, children and youth ministry, and a women's circle. We participate in Ecumenical and Interfaith services in Northeast Seattle, and give support to Sand Point Housing, Sharehouse, the Church of Mary Magdalene for Homeless women, the University Food Bank, and many other local needs. We support our brothers and sisters around the world through our Methodist connections with emphasis in the Congo, the Philippines, and Central America.
