What a wonderful time we had at Madison Park COC for our 5th Sunday Friends & Family Day Worship & Cookout! ❤️

It was a beautiful day of worship, great food, laughter, fellowship, and family! A huge THANK YOU to our Kitchen & Special Events Team for pulling together such a wonderful and well-attended event.

And it truly took a village! Thank you to our setup team, grilling team, those who organized the kids’ games, and everyone who brought a dish, or two! Your helping hands made it all come together. ❤️

The Root B**r Float Station was a HIT 🍨🥤 and definitely added a sweet touch to the afternoon!

And a very special thank you to Sis. Brenda Sterling-Gold, whose generosity made our Door Prize Giveaway extra special and so much fun! 🎁

To all of our family, friends, and visitors who joined us, thank you for spending the day with Madison Park!

The Madison Park Church of Christ family extends our deepest and most sincere condolences to Bro. Jeremiah Brewer and the entire Brewer family in the passing of our beloved Sis. Marilyn Brewer.

The Brewers have long held a special place in the hearts of the Madison Park family. Over the years, they have faithfully supported us in so many ways. Whenever Bro. Jeremiah graciously stepped in to bring us the Word, you could count on Sis. Marilyn being right there, front and center, supporting him and encouraging us with her presence.

We love the Brewers, and we absolutely adored Sis. Marilyn. We are deeply saddened by her passing, and we find joy and comfort in knowing that Sis. Marilyn was in the Lord’s church and lived her life as our sister in Christ. We mourn with Bro. Jeremiah and the entire family while giving thanks to God for the blessing of having known and loved her.

“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 KJV

Sis. Marilyn’s memorial service will be held:

What a beautiful day of fellowship at our first Friends & Family Day of the year!

After worship, we gathered downstairs to share a meal together. The lunch tables were simply decorated to welcome the arrival of Spring, with fresh rosemary & sweet pepper starts, and pansies.

Thank you to everyone who prepared dishes, helped set up, and stayed to enjoy the time together. Moments like these remind us how special it is to gather in love and fellowship.

And the day ended in the most meaningful way…..when our new brother in Christ, Roy Williams, took a page from the Ethiopian eunuch’s story in Acts 8:36 — “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?”

Those who were still in the building and some returned so we could reconvene upstairs in the auditorium to witness his baptism.

A perfect ending to a wonderful day together. 🙌🏾🙏🏾♥️
