On Sunday Rev. Bruce will be back and will be preaching and presiding one last time. Our scripture that day will be Matthew 16:21-28. Jesus knows he has to suffer and die, not because he is a fortune teller, but because he sees the consequences for being loving in the world. Loving people is a hard task, we are called to it!

Also, on this Sunday we will celebrate Communion, so for those of you joining us online please have a bit of something to eat and drink that we will bless during the service. For those of you in the Sanctuary we will be serving Communion with bread and juice received by coming forward or in the pews if preferred. We will also be offering Anointing for anyone who would like an additional blessing.

On Sunday Rev. Bruce will be back and will be preaching and presiding. Our scripture that day will be Matt 16:13-20. We often hear "Son of God" when we talk about Jesus, but what does it mean to be the "Son of Man". Jesus being proclaimed as the Messiah was his divinity.
