VISION
• Creation of a place where we can feel unified in our aspirations to be strong Muslims and global citizens.
• A Central gathering place for holidays, special events, and growing together as a community (Eid, Hajj modeling, Leil al’ qadr).
• Emphasis on education– offering programs for Muslim children and adults including Sunday schools, Arabic, halaqas, and inter-faith discourse.
• Cultural offerings– movies, spoken-word events, music, art, lecture series.
• Civic engagement opportunities– voter registration; educational opportunities about political events -global to local.
• *Jumu’ah – guest khatibs representing the broad array of Muslims in the Seattle-area community and our many masjids.
• Provide a dynamic work environment for businesses and organizations supportive of the center’s mission.
• Aspire to unite Muslims in the Seattle area by emphasizing common ground.
• Demonstrate the Islamic ideal of environmental stewardship to our youth and the greater Seattle Community.
