Large Group- 6:30 pm
Small Group- 7:30 pm
Supper: Poppyseed chicken
Free childcare offered for Babies to 6th Grade.

DID YOU KNOW RECOVERY REQUIRES US TO CHANGE THE WAY WE THINK?

Sometimes the biggest battle isn’t what’s happening around us…

It’s what’s happening in our minds.

Old thought patterns can keep us stuck in old behaviors. We can leave the situation, put down the substance, set the boundary, or walk away from the unhealthy relationship… but if our thinking never changes, we can still find ourselves living in the same cycle.

God doesn’t just want to change our behavior.

He wants to transform our minds.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Romans 12:2

Recovery teaches us to recognize the lies we’ve believed and replace them with truth.

“I’ll never change.”
“I’m too far gone.”
“This is just who I am.”
“I have to handle everything myself.”

Those thoughts don’t have to control us anymore.

WHAT SMALL GROUPS DOES YOUR CELEBRATE RECOVERY OFFER? 👇

One of the things we love about Celebrate Recovery is that recovery isn’t limited to one struggle.

Different CR ministries may offer Open Share Groups for things like:

• Chemical Dependency
• Codependency
• Anger
• Adult Children of Family Dysfunction
• Food & Body Image
• Gambling Addiction
• Love & Relationship Addiction
• Mental Health
• Mixed Issues
• Physical, Emotional and/or Sexual Abuse
• Sexual Addiction

And sometimes someone who has never walked through the doors of Celebrate Recovery has no idea there may be a group for what THEY are carrying.

So let’s help them see what’s out there!

DID YOU KNOW THE COMPANY YOU KEEP CAN AFFECT YOUR RECOVERY?

The people around us have influence.

They can encourage our growth… or pull us back toward old patterns.

They can challenge us to be honest… or make it easier to compromise.

They can point us toward Jesus… or slowly distract us from Him.

Recovery sometimes means taking an honest look at our relationships and asking:

Are the people closest to me helping me become who God is calling me to be?

“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
Proverbs 13:20
