There’s a children’s song about God that says, “He’s got the whole world in his hands.” And it’s true. He does! God’s hands are big enough to hold the whole world secure—and he can handle anything you put into his hands too.

Here are three truths you need to know about God’s hands:

God’s hands are big enough to bless you. Jesus often put his hands on people to bless them—and he wants to bless you too. Isaiah 62:3 says, “The LORD will hold you in his hands for all to see—a splendid crown in the hand of God” (NLT).

God’s hands are strong enough to keep you eternally secure. Jesus promised, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish. . . . My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can sn**ch them out of my Father's hand” (John 10:28-29 NIV).

God’s hands are etched with a reminder of how much he loves us. The Bible says “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands” (Isaiah 49:15-16 NIV). God promises to remember his people, and so he marked his hands to show his unending commitment to never forget us.

Whatever you’re going through today, give it to God. You can trust yourself to his strong, loving hands.
