Sometimes the gift from God is already there. You just have to ask Him in prayer.

On our recent trip to the Gem Foundation in Uganda, our Highlands team got to deliver a wheelchair to Ken, a little boy who had been riding around on the front of his friend’s chair because he didn’t have one of his own.

Ken had started praying for a wheelchair the week before our team arrived.

And God was already at work.

What a beautiful reminder that God sees, God hears, and God is already moving in ways we may not even realize yet.

A little glimpse from our Highlands team’s mission trip to The Gem Foundation in Uganda.

Some of our very own Special Needs Ministry volunteers went to serve, love, and spend time with the incredible children and team there.

This Sunday, we’ll get to hear more about how this trip impacted the volunteers who went. It’s a beautiful reminder that following Jesus calls us to love and serve others here, near, and far.

We’d love for you to join us this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:45am as we worship together and hear more of the story.
