Come one, come all, to Trinity's spooky fun Halloween Hullabaloo!
This family-friendly, all-parish costume event will have food, games, activities, and trick-or-treating in the Parish Hall. The Hullabaloo will be hosted on Halloween Day (this Saturday) in the early afternoon (2-4pm) so you will still have time for neighborhood trick-or-treating in the evening. See you there!!

Since 1984, Trinity has partnered with Transition House. First by providing shelter, before they had their own location on Ortega street, to providing a home-cooked meal once a month on the 4th Saturday. This month, volunteers are needed on October 24 to help team captain Ralph Lowi. If you are interested in helping, please contact the Trinity office, or visit trinitysb.org/upcoming events for more information.

Join us at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, for Compline (Story and Sound): an evening of meditative music by Andrew Elia and storytelling led by the Rev. Sarah Thomas. Trinity's hour-long compline service offers an experience of restful candlelight, electronic music, heartfelt and deep stories, delicious tea, and prayer.

This month's storyteller is Madeleine Ignon. Madeleine is a lecturer at UCSB's College of Creative Studies. She is one of eight artists in Cosmic Synastry: Collective Codes and Personal Readings, a group art exhibition curated by Vanessa Ayala and Lucy Bell. The exhibition also features an eclectic selection of media from UCSB Library’s American Religions Collection archive, the most expansive collection of metaphysical sources in the U.S. This exhibition is supported by Joseph Blankholm, Associate Professor of Religious Studies, and the John Templeton Foundation.

Join us outside on the Labyrinth for the Feast of St. Francis Blessing of the Animals on Friday, October 2 at 5:30pm.

All pets are welcome, from every species, including stuffed!

We’ll have a brief prayer service and remember our animal companions who have died in the past year.
