Join us at Trinity this Sunday welcoming the amazing tenor Lorenzo Johnson Jr. as our soloist. Lorenzo will offer an array of spirituals from the African-American tradition, accompanied by Thomas Joyce on piano. The chosen arrangements played a key role in Lorenzo's recent dissertation, "A Spiritual Journey: Bridging Blackness and Whiteness through Song." This past June, Dr. Johnson earned the Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree from UC Santa Barbara. All are welcome at our worship services at 8am and 10am.
