Growing Hope UMC is a Reconciling Congregation in San Jose, California where all are welcome – and all means _all_! We’re Methodists, so the potlucks are great!

Service Sundays 10AM in-person and via our YouTube channel. Come be a part of our community with activities and ministries for everyone: from Sunday School for youngsters to our very active Joint Youth Ministry to traditional Sunday Worship. Sunday worship begins at 10AM with day care for the very young, Sunday School for children through 5th grade, and activities for youth 6th to 12th grade. We a

lso enjoy many special events, classes, mission opportunities, parties, and get-togethers. Visitors are always welcome. Almaden Hills United Methodist Church (AHUMC) in San Jose, CA is committed to social justice and community service, so we participate in numerous activities to help others. Examples include providing backpacks of school supplies to neighborhood children, feeding the homeless, and raising money to buy blankets and garden tools for people in developing countries. Almaden Hills is a Reconciling Congregation – all are welcome to worship at our church. You do not need to be a member to attend our church or participate in any of our activities, including Communion, Baptism, and Marriage. As a Methodist church, the persons who attend may differ in their understanding of God and Christ, and we welcome this diversity. The theology taught reflects Biblical teaching, reason, and practicality. Messages in our worship service provide insight into how the Holy Word presents itself in today’s world – worshipers are shown connections between stories of the past and our lives today. Our services are enlivened by wonderful music from our vocal and bell choirs, with selections that range from traditional to classical to contemporary.
