This yard sale is about more than finding a good deal. Every purchase helps us continue the ministries and outreach that allow us to care for and serve our neighborhood.

We’ll have clothes, shoes, furniture, household items and more, all at affordable prices. We would truly appreciate your support, whether you stop by to shop or simply help us spread the word.

Thank you to New Beginnings Family Servicesfor organizing this year’s Back-to-School Fair and bringing so many families together. From free haircuts to backpacks and school supplies, students left a little more ready for the school year ahead.

For us, one of the best parts was simply getting to be there—meeting families, sharing about our church, and connecting with our neighbors.

We’re grateful we got to be part of it!

Our friends at New Beginnings Family Services, with support from Alum Rock United Methodist Church and other community partners, are hosting a FREE Back to School Fair on Saturday, July 18, from 1:00–4:00 PM.

Families can receive:

It truly takes a community.

VBS 2026 wouldn't have been the safe, fun, and welcoming place it was without our incredible VOLUNTEERS!

A special thank you to our amazing youth volunteers from our Tongan and Burmese congregations. Your energy, kindness, and servant hearts made such a difference throughout the week.

We're also so grateful for our Alum Rock United Methodist Church family who stepped in wherever help was needed—even our office staff joined in the fun! And to the parents who unexpectedly jumped in to lend a hand, thank you. Seeing families join the experience is one of our favorite parts of VBS.

Thank you for helping create a week filled with faith, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We couldn't have done it without you. 💙

What an incredible three days of faith, friendship, creativity, and fun. We are so grateful for all of the children, families, volunteers, and pastors who helped make this year’s Vacation Bible School such a special experience.
