Praise be to God for the calling and ministry of Pastor Chuck at St. Mary & St. Martha Lutheran Church in San Francisco! We, the members of Chuck’s home congregation, were so thrilled to celebrate this special day with Chuck, his husband Adolfo, his parents, and his new congregation. When God lifts God’s voice, the earth melts!

It’s with great sadness I have learned the passing of Glenda Voss last week. Glenda was a long time member of CGS in the 70’s. She was a loved member of CGS and treasured member/leader of the youth and music ministry here. Her love touched many of us here and at New Creation Lutheran church.
A celebration of life is planned on February 28 at New Creation and I will provide details as I learn them.
Rest in peace, Glenda. You are already missed by the many hearts you touched in your blessed life.

The construction at CGS is mostly done but we’re still trying up a few loose ends. Here’s a few panoramic pictures from each corner of the kitchen. The feedback I’ve received about the kitchen and the rest of the project-bathrooms, great hall and pantry-have been really positive. It is nice to not worry about failing plumbing anymore!
