Join us in person on Saturday, June 27th, from 8:30am-12:30pm for the Don't Go Alone Mentor Family Training and be equipped to support a young adult with knowledge and compassion.

During our training time, we will cover what to expect as a mentor/mentor family for young adults who have aged out of foster care. We will learn together and encourage each other in the process to become certified. Come prepared to take notes, participate, and get to know the other families who are embarking on this journey alongside you.

Get excited for this opportunity for completed 1st-5th graders to Serve and Play together on June 26th from 9am-6pm. We will be serving at Hill Country Daily Bread and having an afternoon of fun at PinStack. Transportation will be provided to and from University and between activity locations. We will continue the summertime fun into the evening with water slides, a movie, and a pizza dinner. Registration cost is $50 per child. Scholarships are available; if needed, please email Jordan at [email protected] before starting the registration process to receive a unique code.

Volunteer recruitment for Kids and Student Ministries for 2026-2027 has begun!

There are many different volunteer options based on your desired time commitment so if you are unsure what is best, just ask! Kids Ministry volunteer sign-up boards are at the Kids Welcome Desk in the Atrium, or email Amy at [email protected]. Student Ministry volunteer sign-up will take place on the North Campus in the Worship Center Lobby on Sundays, or email Cathe at [email protected].

VBS Community Night will be Thursday night, June 19th, during VBS week from 5-7pm. This will be a time for food, fellowship, and a look into all of the fun we've been having during the week! Dinner will be served from 5-6:15pm (North Campus) and worship will begin at 6:30pm (South Campus). Everyone is invited! Dinner is free but donations are welcome.

All are invited to join us for an informational meeting on Stephen Ministry on Sunday, June 7th, at 12pm in the John Wesley Room on South Campus. Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who receive special training to provide one-to-one Christian care to people in our community experiencing challenges in life. Lunch will be provided while you learn about the ministry and what it means to serve as a Stephen Minister.
