Mission Statement

The ACTS Apostolate enables Catholic parish communities to utilize ACTS Retreats as an evangelization tool that inspires intentional Christ-centered discipleship. ACTS Missions, formed in response to the power of the ACTS retreat in 1997, has helped to establish ACTS in more than 45 dioceses in the US, and in 5 other countries. With offices in the Oblate School of Theology, ACTS

Missions has enjoyed a connection with the school of Theology and numerous contacts for parish Evangelization in various OMI parishes throughout the world. Guided by a board of lay directors and also including Bishops Patrick Zurek of Amarillo and Oscar Cantu of San Antonio and OST President Fr Ron Rolheiser, ACTS Missions has developed educational materials and supporting documentation for the retreats in English and in Spanish. More languages and more countries await the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as ACTS Missions gratefully acknowledges the foundation provided by the parishioners of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in answering the call of the Spirit back in 1987.
