We are expected to live right, but we are not expected to live right without power. In this message, When Right Living Requires Real Power, we are reminded that the Christian life cannot be lived by willpower alone. The flesh still fights, temptation still pulls, and the world still pressures believers to compromise — but God has not left us powerless.
Through John 14:26, Acts 1:8, and Galatians 5:19–21, this sermon shows us why we need the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome the flesh, walk in holiness, resist compromise, and live as faithful witnesses for Christ. The Holy Spirit gives us power, love, self-control, strength, boldness, and the ability to become what we could never become on our own.
God has not only called us to live right; He has given us the power to live right — and that power is the Holy Spirit.
