🇺🇸 WE REMEMBER. WE HONOR. WE WILL NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸
September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation.
Today, we pause to remember the lives that were taken too soon, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the countless heroes who ran toward the danger when everyone else was trying to escape it.
Firefighters. Police officers. First responders. Service members. Ordinary men and women who became extraordinary heroes in a moment of unimaginable tragedy.
They carried strangers.
They searched through rubble.
They prayed.
They comforted.
They sacrificed.
And some gave everything so that someone else might live.
More than two decades have passed, but we have not forgotten.
We remember the lives lost.
We honor the heroes.
We remember the courage, sacrifice, compassion, and unity that rose from the ashes.
And today, we pray for every family that still carries the weight of that day. May God continue to bring comfort where there is grief, strength where there is pain, and hope where there has been loss.
