Trouble is not the end of your story - it may be the very thing God uses to write your greatest chapter. The psalmist declared, “It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes.” Affliction has a way of teaching lessons that comfort never can. Helen Keller's blindness and deafness did not stop her from graduating with honors. Glenn Cunningham's devastating burns did not prevent him from becoming a world-record holder. Franklin Roosevelt's paralysis did not keep him from leading a nation. What others saw as limitations became stepping stones to extraordinary achievement.
The greatest example is Jesus Christ. Rejected, ridiculed, falsely accused, and crucified, He took every attack of the enemy and transformed it into the greatest victory in human history through His resurrection. The trials you face today are not designed to destroy you; they are opportunities for God to develop perseverance, strength, and faith within you. As James wrote, "Count it all joy when you fall into various trials." Why? Because trouble has the potential to bring out the very best in you. Hold on, child of God. The night may be dark, but joy is coming in the morning.
