Contemporary Worship Service: 10:30-11:45
Traditional Worship Service 4:00- 5:00 pm Harvey Dixon expressing their desire for a prayer service. The first Prayer Fellowship was conducted March 1966, with twelve participants. With in the year, the group grew and incorporated as Faith Community Church, and purchased the Asbury Methodist Church Sanctuary. Their goal was to restore the old church as a desirable place of worship and promote Bible principles throughout the community.

Wow! Fall Festival at Canvas Faith Community Church, 219 N Division Street, Salisbury is this Saturday folks. Did someone say Longaberger? Yes, we have more here than in the factory! three sets of four complete and all kinds of serving dishes, and of course many baskets all like new condition. And if you aren't into that then how about a weekend at Ocean City or a night at the Marriot in Salisbury. Or how about a nice dinner out. We have close to 30 different restaurants to chose from. Car need repair? yep, we have certificates. Folks, we have something for everyone. And did i mention the yard sale or how about the bake tables, one in and one out. Yes , of course there is a car show and we even have a kids korner with bounce houses and face painting with Cinderella and Spiderman visiting throughout the festival. I know, you ask what about the OYSTER SANDWICHES? Of course there are oyster sandwiches by the KING boys as always. this festival wouldn't be the same without them. See you at 219 N Division St, Salisbury from 0900 to 200. plenty of silent auction items to bid on

24 hours of prayer completed. So many participated. over 100 people came to pray with us. We started with Alter night where we pray and sing worshipping the lord. Then at 9:00 pm started to pray. At 3:00 am there were over 40 people still there praying and singing. This was our second 24-hour prayer event. Have you ever tried to pray for 24 hours? I challenge you. How close to the Lord are you? How often do you pray? My church is made of granite blocks. The cornerstone is Jesus. Each block if one of our members. But the mortar that holds the blocks together is prayer. Come join us at Canvas Faith Community Church. We have three services on Sunday, 9:00, 11:00, and a traditional service at 4:00 .

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our 4:00 pm service will be cancelled tonight due to the impending storm. We were scheduled to do a Memorial Service for Dan Hinkley. That will happen next week March 1st at 4:00. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we want people to be safe and follow the directions of the state by staying off the roads. Have a safe Sunday and be blessed. WE are still having our two AM Services 0900 and 1100. See you there? great way to start you Sunday morning!

Canvas Faith Community Church had their Senior Luncheon Yesterday. We had a great time with about 20 seniors attending and food enough for 50. So, the message is come to our Senior Luncheons and bring a friend. We eat, then we play a few games, share in fellowship and even have prizes. Yesterday was Spaghetti and Meatballs, all you could eat and some to take home for nightime snack.
Who knows, what next month will be, but I promise there will be a lot and it will be delicious. The Senior Luncheons are on the third Thursday of every month, so March is the 19th at 12:00. We even have some under 50 year olds who come and make us feel younger. please come and bring a friend.
