MERCHANT IN THE NEWS- The Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market is celebrating market merchant Pies Etcetera and Owner/Baker Belinda White after a standout showing at the Wicomico County Fair - 11 ribbons total: 4 First Place, 5 Second Place, 2 Third Place.

White's pies, cakes, cookies and bars were judged on taste, texture and appearance against entries from across Delmarva.

Wicomico County Fair 2026 - Winning Entries for Pies Etcetera:

1st Place - 4 Ribbons
• Lemon Meringue Pie
• Coconut Meringue Pie
• Peanut Butter Cookies*
• Coffee Cake*

2nd Place - 5 Ribbons
• Bumbleberry Pie
• Pecan Pie
• 2GOOD 2B Healthy Bars*
• Molasses Cookies
• Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

3rd Place - 2 Ribbons
• 4 Flavored Pound Cake
• Snickerdoodles

* Gluten Free - entered in regular category. The Fair does not offer a separate gluten-free category.

"We work on our gluten-free products to taste delicious and 'normal,'" said Belinda White, owner/baker of Pies Etcetera. "To have our Peanut Butter Cookies and Coffee Cake win First Place, and our 2GOOD 2B Healthy Bars win Second, against traditional recipes, is a huge honor. I want everyone to be able to enjoy a great dessert."

You can find Belinda and Pies Etcetera at the Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market, Worcester County's largest year-round market at White Horse Park, 239 Ocean Pkwy, Ocean Pines, open Saturdays 8am to 1pm rain or shine.

All award-winning items will be available at the market in the coming weeks.

At the core of who we are as a church is our core values which are informed by the teachings of Jesus. So ALWAYS JESUS with SERVING HANDS, who are AMONG the BROKEN, GIVING BACK, with OPEN ARMS is how we roll!

We were delighted to purchase, prepare and serve today’s to go lunch at God’s Kitchen. 150 lunches to bless our neighbors!

We even had enough cookies left over to donate a tray to the Wicomico Humane Society Office.
