As I stated in my about page, I had a rough time transitioning to the civilian sector after my military service. I did not have any idea as to what to do first. I was put through what was considered the Transition Assistance Program at the time. Which amounted to nothing more than how to check out of the Navy and career resources with a little blurb about Va Benefits. I got through this transition period with nothing more than a lot of self-reliance and a little cheerleading from family members....
