The House of Hope Presbyterian Church

The House of Hope Presbyterian Church Hope is more than a word in our name — it is why we were founded on Christmas Eve in 1855.

Our inclusive and affirming community seeks to live out the word of God in our time.

We're excited to have the Auntie of the Midwest, your mouth from the south, 2nd Alt to All American Goddess at Large, and Reigning Miss FIVE Nightclub Fabulous, Rustina, coming to the Pride Heroes Mini-Festival TOMORROW! SATURDAY, JUNE 13!

Rustina (She/They/Auntie) is a fantastic performer - using her performances as a way to channel her emotions and allow her to connect with people in a way everyone understands, through music. Her mission as a performer is to educate and have a great time; to help people find joy and love, and to walk away learning something.

This Juneteenth, we reflect on a powerful moment in history—June 19, 1865.

Music Associate and Carillonneur Timothy Short will offer a Carillon Recital at 12 p.m. Juneteenth honors the end of slavery in the United States and is considered the longest-running African American holiday. On June 17, 2021, it officially became a federal holiday. House of Hope will be closed in observance. From spirituals that guided people to freedom, to songs that fueled the civil rights movement, each piece carries meaning, memory, and hope.

We invite you to pause, listen, and reflect with us on

🐐🧘‍♀️ Goat Yoga is coming to Summer in the Park!

Stretch, laugh, and unwind as friendly goats join us for an evening of outdoor yoga in the park. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just looking for a fun and unique experience, this all-levels class promises plenty of smiles, fresh air, and a few goat cuddles along the way.

Two classes: 5pm for ages 8 and up, 6pm for ages 18 and up.

Bring a towel (mats provided), gather some friends, and join us for one of the most joyful events of the summer. In case of rain, we will move inside at House of Hope. 🌿☀️🐐
