A memory from Rhea Bartels: Long ago, I was on the LN committee filling positions. On a Saturday of that LN, Joe Maurer agreed to be Joseph in the stable. Kate Heinlein was the young lady who agreed to be Mary that night. I knew that Joe and Kate had worked together in the past, so I thought they would have a lot in common. I was praying that they might get along well together. God answered my prayers and they continued to meet in the following months. The best prayer was answered a year later at the next LN, when Joe got down on one knee and asked Kate to marry him. Now they have two children, Briella and Levi.
