Sunday Kids Church (05/03/26) - “Famous Last Words” - #4- “Watch And Pray”

Main Focus:
When you face difficulty, pray to God for strength.

Power Verse:
“Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation...” - Mark 14:38

When life’s most difficult circumstances hit us, our reaction is key. Often, people go into “panic mode” and start to lose control of their emotions. Other times, people start to blame others (and sometimes God) for their problems.

Just moments before He was arrested, Jesus gave some of His “Famous Last Words.” He told the disciples to “watch and pray.”

Jesus gave us the perfect example of what to do when you are facing a difficulty that is bigger than you are.
He didn’t complain or freak out...He prayed.

In this lesson, the children learned from Jesus’ example in the Garden of Gethsemane. They will learn that, if they will humble themselves and pray, God will give them strength to make it through life’s most difficult tests.
