The month of June is dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

When our Savior appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in June 1675, he revealed his heart and said, “Behold this Heart which has so loved men that It spared nothing, even going so far as to exhaust and consume Itself, to prove to them Its love.”

Each year, we celebrate the feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on the Friday after Corpus Christi (Friday June 27 this year).

Here’s a simple and traditional prayer you can pray each day this month:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!

Heavenly Father,
On this Memorial Day, we pray for those who courageously laid down their lives for the cause of freedom. May the example of their sacrifice inspire in us the selfless love of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
Bless the families of our fallen troops, and fill their homes and their lives with your strength and peace. In union with people of goodwill of every nation, embolden us to
answer the call to work for peace and justice, and thus, seek an end to violence and conflict around the globe.
We pray through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Today we celebrate the feast of Pentecost: the birthday of the Christian Church! On this day, the apostles of Jesus were filled with the Holy Spirit, who miraculously gave them the ability to speak in different tongues, allowing them to travel all around the world to proclaim the truth of the Gospel. Three thousand people were converted on the day of Pentecost alone. This is also the official end of the Easter season and the beginning of Ordinary Time in the Catholic Church!
May we rely on the Holy Spirit to guide each of us through our day to day lives, filling us with wisdom, hope, love, peace, and joy. Come, Holy Spirit!🕊️🔥
