What a week! Kids Bible Camp 2025 was five days of crafts, games, treats, and truth, and we had the BEST time watching kids discover the greatest blessing of all: Jesus Christ. Shoutout to every wee lad and lass who brought the energy this week — you made it absolutely unforgettable. So grateful for each and every one of you! 🎉

Praise the Lord! This past Sunday we welcomed 22 new members into the CBC family through the Right Hand of Fellowship.

Membership is no small thing. In Christ, these brothers and sisters have been knit into one body, each given gifts by the Spirit for the building up of the whole. We commit to shepherd and love them; they commit to serve and labor alongside us, all for the glory of Christ and the good of His church. Welcome to the family! :)

The Intro is our newcomers event where you can hear from the leadership of CBC about who we are, why we exist, and what we believe. It’s a great first step in getting connected to the church family.

Our next Intro is this Sunday, June 14th at 11:00 AM. Meet us at the Welcome Table in the Lobby and we’ll walk you over to the meeting room together.

This Sunday during our corporate worship service, we have the joy of extending the Right Hand of Fellowship to our newest members!

Why do we do this? In Galatians 2:9, the apostles extended “the right hand of fellowship” as a public affirmation of partnership in the gospel. When we welcome new members, we’re doing the same thing; the church is publicly committing to love, serve, and care for them, and they are committing to do the same for the body.

Membership matters because the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. It’s how we formally say, “I belong to this family, and this family belongs to me.”

Come celebrate with us this Sunday as we welcome these brothers and sisters into the CBC family!
