Father Marcel Emeh

Give Fr. Marcel a big welcome when you see him in July!

Father Marcel Emeh, SDS. was born and reared in a native country of Nigeria, the most populous nation in Africa. He is the third of six children of his father Marcel and his late mother Cordelia.
He was ordained a priest in May 2018 ,and he served his first four years as the parochial vicar of Divine Savior Parish in Orangevale. His second assignment was at Holy Trinity Parish in El Dorado Hills; he served two years also as the parochial vicar. He served as a parochial administrator of St Theresa parish in South Lake Tahoe, from October 2024 until January 2025. He is presenting serving at St Vincent Ferrer parish in Vallejo.

In lieu of a farewell party, Fr. Nelson has asked to celebrate a bilingual thanksgiving Mass with the entire St. Rose community on Sunday, June 28th at 12:30 pm

If you cannot make this Mass, Father’s last official Mass here at St. Rose will be the Life Teen Mass on June 28th at 4:30 pm where we will say one final farewell.

Please join us at either Mass if you are able and say farewell to our beloved parochial vicar.
