The Second Sephardic Rabbinic Conference, held in New York on Monday and Tuesday, August 17–18, 2026, was a great success, bringing together approximately 150 Sephardic rabbis, lay leaders, and professionals from around the world.
The conference convened with an important shared purpose: to strengthen, study, and promote our traditional Sephardic way of Judaism and to explore how we can preserve, teach, and share our rich heritage with the broader Jewish world.
As part of the conference, Rabbi Dr. Ari Soussan delivered a presentation to the participants, sharing his insights and contributing to the important conversations throughout the gathering. Bernard Suissa, President of Magen David, also attended the program and joined rabbis and communal leaders for this meaningful and inspiring event.
We look forward to the continued work and developments that will come from this important gathering. Stay tuned!
