What does the Bible teach about what happens after we die? In today’s message, Pastor Richard explores the hope and truth Scripture gives us concerning death, the presence of Christ, and the believer’s future beyond this life. At the center of this hope is Jesus, our Intercessor, who is still fully God and fully man and is now in Heaven.
We’ll look at what Scripture reveals about Christ’s unique role as our Intercessor and why His humanity matters. Jesus intercedes for us as the risen Son of Man, having experienced humanity Himself and now standing before the Father on our behalf. Because He lives and reigns in Heaven, believers can have confidence in His ongoing work and care for us.
This message will challenge you to look beyond the uncertainty of death and toward the hope we have in Jesus Christ. As we consider what happens after death, we’ll be reminded that our confidence is not found in speculation or human understanding, but in the person and promises of Jesus.
