What's Love Got To Do With It? Love has EVERYTHING to do with it. The world's definition of love according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary is - strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties. But I caution you when using this definition as a measuring tool. If you read The Word of GOD you would know how truly important love is. For Example: 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

However if when you read the scripture you interpret the meaning of LOVE to be that which we learned in the classroom in school you will totally miss the mark. As I read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 I had to check myself. I can't run around saying that I love people if I don't know what love is. I can't extend love to others if I don't know what love is. I can't love myself if I don't know what love is. Let's explore what love is according to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV):
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Here are a few questions that I asked myself.

Am I patient?

Am I kind?

Am I a hater of those who prosper?

Am I Boastful?

Am I Proud?

Am I Rude?

Am I Angry?

Do I keep tally of folks who have wronged me?

Am I excited to see people pay for their wrong doings?

Am I a protector?

Am I the bearer of bad news?

Am I a quitter when I don't get my way?

I'm not asking you to answer the questions aloud but I am asking that you do an honest self check and make the commitment with me to love by God's design. The best part about it is if we ask God to help us love like HE intended, HE will do just that. I pray that our hearts will be moved to LOVE in a more true and honest way according to The Word and Ways of God. Asking that where we are weak God will make us strong. IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!

Get Your Life!

One of the benefits of being saved is the gift of NEW LIFE. You get to start with a clean slate once you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and rose from the dead on the third day.

If the gift of NEW LIFE isn’t enough you also get to live a life without shame.(Romans 10:11) Praying that tonight will be the beginning of your NEW LIFE for those who have yet to accept Jesus as Lord. IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!

It’s really not that complicated!
What must you do to be saved!!!

1) Confess with you mouth that Jesus is Lord
2) Believe that God raised Jesus from the dead
3) You are saved!

See I told you it’s not complicated at all! Praying that you will not allow something so simple to become complicated. Accept your blessing of becoming saved. NOW.

Is Jesus Still Knocking? – Prayer for Salvation Day - Day 14

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The bible verse above speaks to Jesus knocking at your door waiting for you to answer so he can come in and begin a relationship that will last throughout eternity. Not only does he want a relationship with you but HE wants you accept HIM as your Savior.

Saviour – one that saves or preserves; but properly applied only to JESUS Christ, the Redeemer, who has opened the way to everlasting salvation by his obedience and death, and who therefore is called the Savior of the world.

To accept Jesus as your Savior read the scripture below and believe it in your heart and you will be saved!
