Your occupation is more than a paycheck. It is an opportunity to reflect Jesus. The way we work, serve, care for others, and treat people can point them to Him. Wherever God has planted you, shine His light there!

We are happy to be open again this weekend! Encouragement from the Bible today: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (from Philippians 4:6). If you have any prayer requests, we would be happy to pray with you and for you. God Bless you!

From a worldly perspective, the day Jesus hung on the cross may look like darkness, defeat, and death, but for believers with a heavenly perspective, we know God was using it all to usher in light, love, and eternal life.

What looked like loss was actually gain and what started as grief would become grace.

And we have the opportunity to look at everything we endure with the lens of Good Friday. The hard days, the unexpected losses, the difficult diagnoses... all of it is painful, and God does not bypass any of our pain just to bring about a purpose. But we can shift our perspective, even in the midst of heartbreak, and count on the fact that God has more in store than we can imagine.

Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us..."

There is no better representation of Ephesians 3:20 than what God was doing behind the scenes on Good Friday. He is always doing more than we think, more than we dream, and more than we see.

Jesus is proof that abundance is not measured by the way things appear. Jesus served as our sacrifice, our manna, and our redemption all at once -- all while dying a death He didn't deserve. Because of Him, we will never lack and will never have to look at life with a lens of defeat.

Good Friday is good because God is better than we imagine.

Leave an "amen" if you're grateful for the good news of Good Friday today.
