Dear Sisters,

As we begin a new month, we want each of you to know how much you are loved. We hope that amid the busyness and challenges of everyday life, you will remember that the Lord knows you personally. He sees your efforts, hears your prayers, and walks beside you.

We are so grateful for the strength, goodness, and light each of you brings to our stake. We hope the opportunities ahead will give us time to gather, strengthen friendships, learn together, and draw closer to our Savior.

Three weeks after several wildfires in Eastern Washington destroyed hundreds of homes, two Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ministered to Latter-day Saints in the region. President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles traveled to Spokane, Washington, for a special meeting and to meet with those affected by recent fires on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
