WHY PEOPLE DON'T CHANGE (EVEN WHEN THEY KNOW THE TRUTH)

We get stuck thinking the way people change is you tell them the truth, require them to believe it, and then they become something new. And only then can they belong.

That's the framework we come at people with: Believe first, become second, belong last.

But Jesus flips that whole order upside down.

He starts with belonging. He draws near to people. He makes them feel known and loved by God before anything else.

And out of that belonging, something starts to flower. Belief. Not because they were argued into it, but because they had proximity to the actual person of Jesus.

They encountered His grace and His truth up close. And that encounter is what created real change.

So maybe transformation doesn't start with getting your theology right. It starts with being known.

YOU'RE MORE IMPORTANT TO YOUR CHURCH THAN YOU THINK

Paul saw the church as a body. Jesus is the head, and every single part is needed.

The strong parts are needed. The weak parts are needed. There's no hierarchy of gifts.

If the foot says, "Because I'm not a hand, I don't belong to the body," it doesn't make it true.

If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? God arranged each part exactly where He wanted it.

God gave greater honor to the less honorable parts so there'd be no division. When one suffers, we all suffer. When one is honored, we all rejoice.

You are the body of Christ. All of you are needed.
