Now Hiring: Contemporary Music Coordinator (Part-Time)
Richland Lutheran Church is looking for a passionate and gifted Contemporary Music Coordinator to help lead and grow our worship ministry!

About the Role:
This part-time position (10–15 hours/week) works closely with the Lead Pastor to plan and lead contemporary worship, develop musicians and teams, and create meaningful worship experiences that help people connect with God.

They will be primarily responsible for assisting the congregation in its worship of God by serving as, or arranging for, primary musician(s) for contemporary worship services and by equipping, empowering, and encouraging RLC people to use their spiritual gifts and passion in music and worship ministry.

What You’ll Do:
• Plan weekly, seasonal, and holiday worship services
• Lead and/or coordinate music for contemporary services
• Recruit, rehearse, and lead a Praise Team
• Support special services (weddings, funerals, etc.) as available
• Help coordinate service materials (bulletins, slides, media)
• Develop and support additional musicians, groups, or ensembles
• Collaborate on ministry planning and goals

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience leading contemporary worship in a church setting
• Strong vocal and/or instrumental skills (piano and/or guitar preferred)
• Ability to lead teams and work well with volunteers
• Organizational and communication skills
• A heart for worship and helping others use their gifts

Additional Requirements:
• Comfortable working with technology and media tools
• Valid driver’s license & ability to pass a background check
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs

Our Sewing Bee ministry has been making quilts for the Tri-City Chaplaincy. They do a pinning ceremony for any veterans who are on hospice care and they are given a quilt. We are so honored to be part of this special ceremony and provide the quilts.
