Our prayers to Rev. Steven Ullestad's family and Northeastern Iowa Synod coworkers/community.

It's with heavy hearts we share the passing of Rev. Steven L. Ullestad, former bishop of the Northeastern Iowa Synod. Rev. Ullestad was elected in 1992 and served until 2020. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Rev. Ullestad.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 16th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17th from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Below is a link for the obituary and details on service times.

Ages: TK (potty trained & able to dress themselves) - entering 6th grade
Where: Ingawanis Adventure Base, Waverly
Cost: $10/Child
Online registration will direct you to Vanco for online payment
Mail or drop off check to church office
Limited scholarships are available. Please contact church office for details
Activities: Songs, Crafts, Games, Stories & Adventure
Kids asked to wear: Closed-toe shoes are a must—there will be lots of walking and exploring!
Kids asked to bring: backpack with water bottle, sunscreen & bug spray for reapplications,
swimsuit & towel for water games.

On Sunday our St Peter graduates were presented with beautiful quilts created by women of the congregation. Thank you to all the ladies that continue this tradition of love, faith and support. Thank you to Sheila for making the quilt labels and to Holly and Jennifer for completing the long-arm quilting.
