Y’all remember our principal’s famous 10:30 AM sushi break? 🍣

Well, apparently, that was just the beginning! ⛳️

From sushi before lunch to swinging clubs at Topgolf in the middle of the school day… we’re starting to think this whole principal thing might be a pretty sweet gig!

Meanwhile, the rest of us are just trying to figure out how to get HIS job! 🤣

🎃 What an incredible, jam-packed night in the "LC"! 🍬

We had an absolute blast hosting our annual Trunk or Treat, and our hearts are so full! We were absolutely thrilled to welcome over 225 children and their families to Level Cross Baptist Church and Level Cross Christian School for an evening packed with creative trunks, tons of candy, and wonderful fellowship.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone in our community who came out to spend the evening with us, and a huge shoutout to all of our amazing volunteers who decorated trunks, donated candy, and served with smiling faces.

Our last HOME volleyball game is this afternoon at 4:30pm. Come out and support this amazing group of ladies. Concessions will be sold. $5 per person for adults. Children admitted free!

Wanna know what makes our principal different from YOUR principal? Ours is BUILT DIFFERENT. Who says sushi can't be a 10:30 AM snack?!

Some principals run on coffee. Ours runs on sushi. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way!

The school secretary, Mrs. Jan, wasn’t having any part in it. We think she’ll just stick to her morning coffee!

7th–12th Grade Field Trip!

Our 7th–12th grade class had a wonderful and educational field trip to the Randolph County Animal Shelter!

During our visit, students got an inside look at how the shelter operates and all that goes into caring for the animals. They learned about the cleaning and sanitation procedures required by the state, as well as the regulations the shelter follows to ensure the animals are safe and well cared for.

Students also learned how volunteers can make a difference at the shelter and how important socialization is for animals waiting to be adopted. Spending time with the animals, giving them attention, and helping them become comfortable around people can play an important role in preparing them for their forever homes.

Another interesting part of the visit was learning about microchips—what they are, how they work, and why they can be so important in helping lost pets find their way back home.

We are so thankful to the Randolph County Animal Shelter for taking the time to educate our students and give them such a valuable, hands-on learning experience! We appreciate all the hard work they do for animals in our community.

This Sunday!

We will be celebrating Pastor Jerry Mills’ retirement from Pastor of Level Cross Baptist Church. Mr. Mills has faithfully served as Pastor for FIFTY years! It was his desire to open a Christian school in Level Cross. The school opened in 1979 and is still shaping young minds and pointing them to Christ, today!

THIS EVENT IS A SURPRISE FOR THE PASTOR AND HIS FAMILY. Please do not mention it to them.
