Update: Greetings from the Philippines, I am Custodio a member and a secretariat of the Hands of Mercy and Grace Eternal Foundation (HOMAGE) which Pastor Gerald Yaskiewicz work as a Board member, I just had a feeling that he wanted me to help this foundation and continue to reach his goal. With your help I know that this will be possible. please see photos of the latest development on the Church that we are building in Cada Mountain Province Philippines, headed by Pastor Joni Carig with the help of Bro. Greetings everyone from the land of the sun..... the Philippines. I returned to the u.s. last October after a mild stroke. I returned here after my doctors released me. In July i returned to the u.s. to bury one of my daughters, Christi. I am here now in the Philippines. My health is still an issue with hip problems and minor issues from the stroke. I celebrated my 70th birthday last month. I really need your prayers. As soon as i am able, i will travel north to visit several Churches, Lord willing. God bless you all for ur faithful prayers and support.

Here for my 9th journey to the Philippines. Had to return to u.s. to bury my daughter Christi. When i return, Mercys father died, then the pastors wife at the Cavinti Municipality, where Mercy works passed. Very rough 2 months. I covet your prayers as i plan a trip north to Villasis Baptist Church in Pangasanan, Mankayan, Benget, and Cervantes Iloco Sur

Greetings from the Philippines. My journey was interrupted in October with a mild stroke. I returned to the U.S. and received clearance to return to the Philippines. In July, i returned again to N.C. to bury my twin daughter Christi, age 46. Rwo weeks after i returned again to the Philippines, Mercys father died. I must admit i was numb. Last week the wife of a local pastor friend here passed into glory. I know God has His plans for our lives but sometimes its hard and i covet ur prayers.

Hello, this is Gerald Yaskiewicz. I am a missionary in the philippines. I need ur prayers. Last week I was taken to the hospital here in the Philippines. The doctor said I had a stroke. I'm having trouble focusing and I've lost 50% of sight in my right eye. I was in the hospital for 2 days and am now in Laguna resting. I've had a headache for 4 days and knumbness in my left arm. I had to postpone my return flight to N.C. till I'm able to fly for 20+ hours. Plz pray. I need a touch from the masters hands.

Over 770 people have indicated a “Like” for Hands of Mercy and Grace Eternal. Imagine if each person could raise or donate $10. $7700 would buy a good used truck for Pastor “Jerry”. Build more schools, repair broken utility infrastructure, build where there is nothing. Even a gift of $770 can go far.

Just returned from Lagayan, Pangasinan. I joined over 200 pastors for the annual conference for National Chaplains of the Philippines. I was blessed to speak Tuesday morning for over an hour calling the pastors to arms. Pastor Martin, long time friend and brother in Christ was prayed over and set in as International Bishop. God Bless you my friend.

Several have asked, how do you choose the projects to work on. My answer is true and honest.....The Spirit Leads me and tells me what to do. As most of you know, we are currently building a new 32' x 48' Church in Cada, Mankayan, Benguet, as God provides the funds. I was invited to three other Churches asking for help. I informed the pastors, I can only help when God indicates. God didn't say or lead me to help these three Churches.
We visited the small house Church in Ilocos Sur and while ministering that Sunday, God clearly spoke and said...."This is your next project."
My plan was to complete Cada Grace Christian first then work on Ilocos Sur. but, God had other plans. we received word that one of the members donated property for this small Church. Then, a week later, as we visited again for Sunday service, we were shown where the members cleared the site of vegetation, rock, and leveled the building site. They continued by cutting 6 trees on the property and prepared them to be installed for columns. I gave the pastor $75 and they bought the wood framing. When we arrived again 2 weeks later, the 12' x 16' wood columns and roof framing were complete.
Thanks to a generous giver, we received $1,250.00. We framed the walls, doors, and windows and poured the concrete floor last week. The metal roof is finished and the metal walls will be completed this week. When I return next month, I will purchase plastic chairs. TO GOD BE THE GLORY. We will dedicate this building to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His kingdom when I return. We held our first service under the metal roof and wood framed walls and had communion. What a blessing to be a part of Gods moving here in the Philippines.
Our next project is to install water lines to the Church with electrical power and erect 2 outside toilets. The cost of the water lines, power line, poles, concrete, meter base, and electrical box is only $300.00. The cost to erect the two bathrooms including a small septic tank is only $700.00. Please remember, the Church along with myself and Pastor Joni provide all the labor for free.
We all are waiting on Gods provisions in providing this $1,000.00 to complete this Church.
