Join the United Methodist Men on Tuesday, September 15, for the kick-off meeting of the 2026-27 program year. Our speaker will be Brian Fork, CEO of Hurricanes Holdings, LLC, who will talk about all things hockey coming off the Hurricanes' Stanley Cup win.

All women of the church are invited to join the UMW for their Fall Kickoff, September 14 at 5:30pm, for their social on the church patio and dinner at 6:00pm. Our speaker will be local chef and author Brigid Washington.

Brigid is a Trinidadian food writer who has covered a variety of topics, including Caribbean food and culture as it intersects with life in the United States. Her writing has appeared in Bon Appetit, Food & Wine, Garden & Gun, Harper's Bazaar, Southern Living, The New York Times, and a number of other publications.

A brand-new Holy Day has been added to the ecumenical lectionary calendar this year! September 1st is now officially the Feast Day of Creation and we're celebrating.

The Hayes Barton Creation Care Team invites you to join us on September 1st for a delicious feast in the Fellowship Hall from 5:30-6:30pm. This meal will be sourced locally and prepared by Chef Netta from in Hillsborough. At 6:30, immediately following dinner, we will move into the sanctuary for a 45-minute family-friendly worship service with a short homily by Pastor David Beam and a children’s lesson by Carina Chiscano-Doyle.

Sunday is your day to reconnect at Hayes Barton!

As summer winds down and a new school year begins, we’re bringing our church family back together for a morning of worship, connection, and a look at what’s ahead.

Whether you’ve been here every Sunday this summer or it’s been a while, we hope you’ll join us for Communion Worship at 8:30, 9:00, or 11:00am. We'll have special programming for all ages during the Sunday School hour, and we'll have stations in the Welcome Center and Well Atrium to help members get their Realm accounts set up.

Come worship, reconnect with your church family, and find your place for the year ahead!
