Next Wednesday we are heading to Knights Action Park in Springfield, IL! We will leave from Madison Park Church East End parking lot at 8:00am and arrive back at 7:00pm. Students will be able to enjoy the water park and a day of summer fun with friends. A digital scrapbook from last week at Emerge! Canoeing, rock climbing, small groups, swimming, group initiatives, worship, serve projects, daily devotionals are just the highlights of the week. Our students learned about how they can wear the armor of God in their daily life.

The last two days students have stretched themselves by completing serve projects and have faced fears by rock climbing. We spent an afternoon swimming and sliding down waterfalls. Every night Lillie Harvey has preached and our students are asking great questions in small group to grow deeper in relationship with Christ.

It was the first full day of Emerge, and students had a great day (despite some rain). Half of our students spent the morning on the river canoeing, and the other half challenged themselves with high ropes and group initiatives. At group initiatives teams work together to complete a task. It challenges them to become better communicators, team members, and problem solvers.

It's summer, and we can't wait to hang out! Join us on Wednesday, June 10 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Upper Moorman Park for putt + putt. All students going into 6th - 8th grade in the fall and their friends are welcome! Please bring $10 to cover the cost of putt + putt. We will see you on Wednesday!
