Many people intend to lie. There are circumstances that make it ok, or so they say.
When the question is asked, "Is it always wrong to lie?" the person asking has assumed that it IS wrong to lie.
Is it just a cultural thing?
Does it matter??

God has something to say. Are you interested?

On the bus ride I sat between my best friend and his younger brother. I got a bloody nose when one brother tried to smack the other but hit me instead. Our bus driver thought it was a fight, but I assured him that the bloody nose was not intentional but accidentaly.

How important are your intentions??

Serving is not glamorous. One who serves goes ahead of his master to prepare. He follows his master's orders. He goes behind to clean things up or straighten things up. Those who serve are often ignored and practically invisible.
The question, "Where do you want to be five years from now?" is never answered, "A faithful servant."
And yet, you said you wanted to be like Jesus.

Because of our nation's history and attitude, I don't think we grasp the idea of servanthood well. Jesus sometimes used 'servants' in His teachings. In general, the servant had no will of his own; the master's will was his will. How would you do with that?
