An earthly city glorfies itself, a Heavenly City Glorfies God.

Last Sunday at COG, Jason Swenson delivered a timely word titled “WHERE ARE YOU?” out of Genesis 3:1–21.

From the garden, we hear a question that still confronts every heart today: “Where are you?”

City of God… where are you?

Where are you with the Lord?
Do you truly know Him?
Have you grown distant from Him?
Are you hiding from Him?
Running from Him?
Or are you walking closely with Him?

God’s question to Adam wasn’t because God didn’t know where Adam was—it was an invitation for Adam to recognize where he was.

And that same question still searches our hearts today.

Last Sunday at COG, Rev. Steven Rodrigues — “The Rev” — brought a powerful and engaging word titled, “IS IT IN YOU?” out of
2 Timothy 1:1–18. 🔥

Paul reminded Timothy to “stir up the gift of God” that was already within him — and The Rev challenged us with a question we all have to answer:

IS IT IN YOU?

Because when the Holy Ghost is in you, it doesn’t mean you won’t face pressure, adversity, disappointment, or uncertainty. It means what’s happening around you doesn’t have the power to extinguish what God has placed within you.

When it’s in you, you can endure.
When it’s in you, you can stand.
When it’s in you, you can keep moving forward.
And when it’s in you, you know that no matter what you’re walking through, you’re going to be OK with God.

🔥 So the question remains… IS IT IN YOU?

A couple Sundays ago, Michael Almeida stepped behind the COG pulpit for the first time and faithfully delivered a powerful word titled KOINONIA, out of
1 Corinthians 10:16–17.

He reminded us that biblical fellowship is more than gathering together—it is communion with Christ and shared life within the Body of Christ.

We honor Michael for his obedience and faithfulness in delivering the Word the Lord deposited in him and through him, but above all, we give glory to JESUS—the One who unites us and makes us ONE BODY.

Many members. One Body. One Christ. KOINONIA…

Last Sunday at COG, Luis Barrios shared a powerful and timely word from Ephesians 1 & 2—reminding us of the transforming power of the Gospel.

In Christ, we are born again, made new, and given a new identity. As we walk with Jesus, our minds are renewed and our lives begin to reflect who He has called us to be.

We’re grateful for what God is doing in His people and through His Word.

Last Sunday, Pastor Daniel continued our series through the book of Acts with a message titled:

NO OTHER NAME
Acts 4:1–12

The powerful truth of Acts 4:12 reminds us that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone.

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12 (NASB)

Last Sunday, Pastor Daniel continued our series through the Book of Acts with a message titled:

THE GREATER MIRACLE
Acts 3:11–26

“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”
— Acts 3:19 (NASB 1995)

The miracle opened the crowd’s eyes, but repentance opened their hearts.

The Word of God is more powerful than any quote, illustration, or punchline. Preach the Word.

THRESHOLD THURSDAY!

Do not mistake rejection for abandonment.

Sometimes rejection is not God refusing you.
Sometimes it is God rescuing you from rooms too small to carry what He placed in you.

Rejoice when they reject you.
Not because it does not hurt.
Not because you are numb.
But because the promise of God does not need the approval of people to survive.

Repent in rebellion.

Do not decorate disobedience with excuses.
Do not call stubbornness “discernment.”
Do not call delay “wisdom.”
Do not call fear “waiting on God.”

If rebellion is in your hands, drop it.
If pride is in your mouth, repent.
If bitterness is in your heart, surrender it before it hardens into a throne.

Proclaim in pain.

Do not let suffering steal your sound.
Do not let wounds become your worship leader.
Do not let disappointment disciple your tongue.

Preach while you bleed.
Praise while you limp.
Proclaim while the pressure is still on your chest.

Because pain only becomes poison when it loses purpose.

Purpose it for power.

Let the betrayal teach you endurance.
Let the delay sharpen your hunger.
Let the pruning expose what was never fruit.
Let the fire burn off what applause could never correct.

Do not lose heart.
Lay hold of the promise.

Do not grow weary in doing good just because the harvest is hidden.
Seeds do not scream underground.
Roots do not need recognition to be real.

Keep sowing.
Keep praying.
Keep forgiving.
Keep obeying.
Keep showing up clean when life gives you every reason to become corrupt.

Persist in the promises without slack.

No retreat.
No romanticizing Egypt.
No negotiating with the grave clothes God already called you out of.

If God spoke it, hold it.
If God promised it, war with it.
If God started it, do not bury it because you got tired halfway through.

The rejected still rejoice.
The rebellious still repent.
The wounded still proclaim.
The weary still endure.

And the faithful do not faint before fulfillment.
