Galatians is not just about what we are saved from—it’s about what we are saved into: a Spirit-led life marked by love, freedom, transformation, and becoming like Christ. At its core, Galatians is a reminder that we do not begin by grace and then mature by striving; we live the whole Christian life dependent on Jesus from beginning to end. Paul is pleading with the people of Galatia not to go backwards or place an additional yoke alongside Jesus that He never intended for them to carry in the first place. Does this sound familiar?

WE TRUST HIM WITH EVERYTHING

Jesus isn't just offering a new set of rules. He's inviting us into a completely different way of life.

And that way of life comes down to one thing: trusting Him, no matter the moment, with the everyday stuff of our lives.

We trust Him with our heads, our hearts, our hands, our feet, and our sin.

We trust Him when we're angry. We trust Him when we're anxious, when we're tempted, when we've been wronged, or when we are the ones who are wrong.

We trust Him with our money, our relationships, and our future.

All of it. Not just the spiritual parts, but every part.

At the end of His sermon, Jesus asks us one question: will we trust Him enough to act on His words?

That's the invitation. Not just to agree with what He said, but to live like we believe it.

It makes perfect sense that Jesus would close out his manifesto on the Kingdom Of God (Sermon On The Mount) with these words: “Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”

We want to act on these words. We want to take the scriptures off of the page and carry them (now matter how heavy) into our lived experience.
We want to do the stuff, not just read about the stuff.

Lord, keep us willing. Keep us acting.
