Today at church the kids were taught from the book of Ester and how she saved God's people.

Spend some time this week discussing with your kids what they learned.

God was in control over Haman’s evil plan to destroy the Jews. Like Haman, Satan wants to ruin God’s plan and destroy believers. Satan thought he had won when Jesus died on the cross, but God raised Jesus from the dead and defeated Satan once and for all. All who believe in Jesus are rescued from sin and death.

Today the kids were taught from Daniel 7, where Daniel saw a vision about the future of God's people.

Good follow up discussion tonight with your kids: Jesus is king over all things. God allows people to rule for a short time, but one day Jesus will return and set up his perfect kingdom. Everyone who trusts in Jesus will be welcomed into his kingdom, and his kingdom will last forever.

Tomorrow the kids will be taught that God is the eternal king who judges the nations.

At church today the kids were taught how God showed His power to rescue Daniel from the lions, but Daniel was just a small part of a much bigger story. God ultimately rescued us from a much bigger problem—sin and death—through His Son, Jesus.

You can also discuss with them how this teaching can relate to their life today (trusting God, do not have a jealous heart, our words matter, honor and worship God alone, etc.)

Tomorrow at church the kids will continue to be in the book of Daniel. They will be taught about the time when God humbled King Nebuchadnezzar to show that he is in control.

May we also humble ourselves before God knowing that he is in control, that he gives and takes away, that he is almighty, and worthy of our praise.
